The time has come! We are once again accepting submissions for this year’s playwriting festival.

This year’s theme is ‘Facing Reality’. All of us have had to make hard choices in life. We’ve been faced with options and had to face difficult realities. Sometimes, it becomes difficult to even distinguish what is real and what’s not. All we are left with is facing our own realities. Let the theme inspire you to create something amazing!

Here’s how to participate!

We will start off the festival with ‘pitch night’ where potential playwrights will pitch their ideas. Scripts DO NOT have to be completely finished at this point, but a general structure should be visible. Pitch night will take place on the 4th of February at New Visions Theatre (Na Celné 508/3). So get your ideas rolling, you have the holiday months to prepare your pitch! Directors, actors, scenographers, etc are welcome to start…
