Creating music, regardless of the genre, is a highly intimate endeavor. For some artists, the opportunity to perform in front of an audience is essential to reconnect with the world and discover a new creative momentum. Through his live set, Promenade demonstrates that he has found a common thread weaving through the music he has produced in recent years, despite the different labels putted on it. Armed with a sampler and a synthesizer, he has taken his tracks out of the studio and found a way to bring them to life. Chill-hop, Lo-Fi, and liquid funk vibes seamlessly blend into a mesmerizing live performance — two hours of Promenade's original music crafted with the intent of presenting it without the crutch of a laptop. This live act serves as a platform to showcase his latest productions, offering the audience an immersive experience into the diverse and innovative sounds he brings to the stage. Utilizing the SP-404 MKII, he performs tracks from his discography, incorporating additional samples, primarily featuring horns, guitars, and voices. Simultaneously, he employs the Roland J-6 to harmonize and blend the new compositions, infusing them with scales and arpeggios.  

BIO: Promenade commenced his musical journey in Italy, specifically Milan, where he immersed himself in the study of jazz. Finding himself without a band to collaborate with in the bustling city, he made a revelation – that all he cherished and learned could also manifest in vastly diverse musical genres. Mastering the art of blending two vinyl records, he discovered the ability to craft original compositions. Fueled by his finely tuned ear for solfeggio, he embarked on a DJ career, gracing stages across Italy. His chosen genre was drum and bass, with a particular affinity for the subgenre known as liquid funk.  After several years, he delved into music production studies, releasing singles for esteemed English labels and eventually establishing his own label, BNCexpress, which remains active to this day, marking a successful 12-year journey. Amid the pandemic, he felt compelled to create music meant for listening beyond the confines of the club, leading him to experiment with more laid-back beats. His productions have found homes in various labels, including Chill Select, LoFi Jazz, and Patiotic, the latter recently compiling his extensive body of work into a compelling album.
