Do you like to read but sometimes can't find the motivation to pick up a book? Do you like to be social, but also have some space? Do you want to meet other likeminded individuals who encourage you to delve deeper into a good read? If you answered yes, our silent book club is the place for you! 

Come on down to the café where we will be organising a 'silent book club'. Bring any book you like and come read it! We will enforce a silent space for you to read without interruptions while still in the company of others. You won't have to worry about noises or distractions. We will be your 'librarian' and help keep the peace. 

The evening will begin in the café with 30-40 minutes of 'socialisation'. Fellow SBC members can come together and chat about what books they are reading. Depending on turnout, we will enforce a quiet space either in the back room of the café or in the theatre room. Participants must respect the 'rule of scilence'. We will have 'non-silent' spaces for those who wish to chat with each other, but the main focus of this event is to give readers a space to read in peace and silence. 

Beverages will be available for consumption in the Literary Love Café. Some books are available to lend during your stay if requested.
